Ooh - these earlier French coins are hard to grade. Obverse looks a little rough but that may be the photo. My experience is that these coins were quite weakly struck and there's little difference in detail between a VF and an EF specimen. I'd say it would rate TTB- in French modern grading or a Fine / Good Fine in Britain.

I can't help thinking that the weaker strike on the reverse has helped push the grade lower.
nF/vG - British grading.
