Just purchased this, here are my photos. What do you think it would grade at? The reverse is absolutely stunning in hand. The devices are bold against the fields and toning.
It has very bright cartwheel lustre in hand.

Au-58. The obverse is too battered for MS.

MS62+, great toning, probably looks better in hand.
I see some handling marks and nicks, but no signs of actual circulation wear.

Guessing the obverse is not as bright as shown, as evidenced in the extended reverse pics. I'll say MS-64.

I don't see any circulation wear, MS63. Nice coin.

NGC gave this one AU55, no idea how it scored so low really. I've sent hundreds of coins and my guesses are never far off. This one I had written down as MS63, so that's shocked me. Oh well, that's how the cookie crumbles sometimes :)

You're correct! That is a much nicer Columbian than a 55! That's a shame they graded it so low.

I'm still at AU-58. Looks nicer than a 55, but not MS.

I don't like how there is a lot of toning around the lettering but nothing center. Probably market graded down due to a dip.

Late to the game but I am not surprised. I was surprised at the grades posted in this thread. I was at 55/58. There is wear on the forehead, cheek and all 3 major sails on the reverse.

Possibly cleaned and net graded? I don't see a whole lot of luster.
