As with older manufactured diecast model cars, an example in as new condition with original box will bring much more at auction.
If the coins cannot be removed without damaging the packaging, then that is the way they should remain.
Like the OP, I find that the packaging that comes with lower value collector coins is somewhat annoying, and entirely at odds with the way I store and display the rest of my collection, which is coins in 2x2's in album pages.
Thus, I have a few silver proof coins that I have taken out of their packaging and put them in close fitting capsules, and put those into the album pages.
A problem arises if the packaging has to be destroyed if you wish the put the coins into capsules.
If the packaging can be left undamaged, I would suggest that the method of capsules in album pages may be acceptable to the OP also. The unused packaging can be stored separately so that the coins in original packaging can be sold later at a higher price.
