IMO, its due to the market believing the Federal Reserve is closer toward the end of the interest rate hiking cycle. The last 3 hikes were .75%, today most likely will be .5 Going into '23 will be another couple half point increases & then its wait-n-see if the Fed gets "Dovish" or pivots on their rate hiking stance. If you look at the 20 year price chart, it is currently just about bang on the 20 year trend line. Just a bit underwhelming from the way I see it, and especially so, if you are a long term stasher.
