thanks for your replies.. I have attached another pic showing the scatches. do you think the dark colour is a negative thing? its appealling to the eyes making contrast showing details sharper

The color doesn't bother me, and I think it would straight grade even with the scratch.

Hard to get a feel for luster, but agree with AU sharpness. These are the most common of Morgan's. Probably a $40 value right now, give or take.

Depends on circulation and environment. I've had both Morgans and Peace with this sort of toning.
The more hands through which a coin passed, the more oils and dirt are deposited on the surface, and other things such as storage environment can affect the color.

Looks AU to me too. What's the weight and thickness? Worth about $30 USD if genuine.

the thickness 2.3 - 2.4mm I also done a ring test and every thing looks perfect

That's good. A friend of mine had some counterfeit Morgans looking very much like this one. Weight was perfect and they were struck from quality dies. Give away was the thickness, they were base metal and at least a mm thicker than standard.
