I know that the 2023 Britannia's with queen effigy are going to be a low production run but I have not been able to find any mintage figures. Does anybody know what the mintage will really be for these type 1 coins?

Likely won't know final mintage until The Royal Mint releases it's 2022 annual report, when that is I don't know. While the 2023 Britannia with Queen is limited production compared to prior years, they are plentiful, not scarce at all. Dealers still have them in stock and you can buy monster boxes of 500 for 1 oz silver, 100 for 1 oz gold. The Royal Mint already had planned production of these when the Queen died, likely already had the dies made. It was decided to go ahead and strike these 2023 during the remainder of 2022. The 2023 with King Charles is coming. It is cool there will be two monarchs on coins in the same year.

I don't think the 2023 Queen Britannia will have a higher premium due to low production but maybe a little higher someday due to them being the last with Queen.

Well regardless of mintage and or rarity, I had to get one 2023 and I also got the 2022. I'll be waiting for the one with the king. I don't really care for the portraits of the king and queen. I do like the Britannia devices though especially since they mimic a reverse proof.
