I've finally completed the 1st series of Queens Beast coins. I've now obtained the Completer Coin too! Whew! Now the prices have skyrocketed. Does anyone else collect them? I've ordered the 1st coin in a new QB set which commemorate Henry VIII and his family(s). I'm not sure how far I'll get with this set due to baffling costs. Comments? Collectors? Interest?

Thanks John 1 - I had to cringe a bit when I saw the $$$$. Well, they are 2 oz silver so that was my justification. I love the series! I had started it so I just had to keep going! Truly was a milestone!

I like the designs but I just bought the cupro-nickel versions.

I agree, the designs are quite nice. I also like the history behind each design.

There's nothing wrong with buying the Cupro Nickel...they are very nice too and worth having for the enjoyment of the designs.

I have been collecting both the 2 ounce silver and the clad ones.

I see they are doing the same silly games with the Tudor Beasts that they did with the Queen's Beasts.

2 Ounce Silver Ones Released So Far:

2202 The Lion of England
2023 Yale of Beaufort

Clad Ones Released So Far:

2022 Seymour Panther
2022 Loin of England
2023 Yale of Beaufort

Just wish they would release the same clad and bullion ones at the same time, it would make things easier.
Rest in Peace

I too am collecting both the Queen's Beasts and the Tudor Beasts, but only in the cupro-nickel versions. I have all of the Queen's including the completer.
