if you look at the reverse on the new photo right after the A in AMERICA you'll notice that the dark area is squared off. this is not natural. I think it had an old cleaning but passed as acceptable. not the best looking AU58 example but at least you got a straight grade on it

It just looks like typical silver oxidation to me. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
