Hey all, thought I would show off my latest pickup, this is a big one for me, the capstone of my nearly completed "colonial type set" (self-defined of course). Took a long time to get it, this one checked all the boxes, large planchet, reverse N, nicely centered, overall look..

And holy mackerel, the note says R6, that's the only I coin I own that is R-anything. Wow-ee! whattya think?

Picking up one of these was a crown to my colonial collection and I expect is for you as well. I can't comment on the grade, but it is a pretty sweet piece of history you have there. Well done!

Very nice! Not my wheelhouse in the least. Love reading up on colonials, have seen some amazing examples in person, but do not collect them...yet.

Shot in the dark at VF25, nice example and congrats on the addition!

Not my wheelhouse either but, appreciate the history behind it. Nice looking coin but, why hide the grade?

I believe that is the point of this sub-forum, post the coin and everyone else guesses the grade, then I reveal it 24 hours later, or some such. Anyway hope to get some guesses, I feel this one was conservatively graded (though so would most everyone for their own coin )

thats sweet and an Awesome pickup

definitely out of my wheelhouse for grading but looks like a little weakness in strike on the obv but the lettering is very sharp and especially of note are the buttons around the date.

I'm with kbbpll at VF35

sweet coin. I'm between 15 and 20. its NGC so ill say they called it 20.
