wd1040, since the spaces are not part of the puzzle, it doesn't matter.

If the line said:
I love chocolate ice cream and nuts.
or
Ilovechocolateicecreamandnuts.

you could read either one.

Well WD, if that is how you would break up the sentence, I think this puzzle may be a little too tough for you!

Waiting for the first clue(s). The spacing thing has me confused, too. Why not space it the way the words are supposed to be spaced, as this thing is hard enough?

Yes, it is spaced the way the words are supposed to be spaced.
First word 5 letters
Second word 6 letters
Third word 4 letters
Fourth word 2 letters
etc...

Wow! it's the characters other than letters that are really throwing me off. Is 46 the key? If there are 333 characters shouldn't the key be a factor of that such as 37? I guess I need more clues.

I think I got the 46 part figured out, but what's throwing me off is the fact you said that the first and last words are the same. Wow, this is tough, but it's gonna be fun!

Good luck to all!

46 is also the total number of characters, is this a coincidence?

It is still the characters other than letters that are confusing me?

Sorry quicksilver, only one hint a day. Tomorrow will be another hint. Hopefully, folks are starting to see that this will take a little work, but is a lot of fun.

Well! I thought I had it. I had worked out the correct number of columns and when the key matched I thought I just had to plug in the answer.

Unfortunately it is still gobbledygook! Back to the drawing board!

For the next hint can you confirm, are the Letters followed by the Numbers, followed by the Symbols?
