Hello again CC.I found this coin because of the DDR on the "ONE CENT". Can I get any advice on whether this is the skinny "FG" and does the reverse look like it's been struck through tape? Thank you once again for the help. ABRNE

Pretty sure it's glue. Give it a soak in acetone and I'm pretty sure it will come off.

Thanks for the reply and advice , but I don't want to do anything to it until I'm certain about the coin.

Acetone won't hurt it one bit.

All 1988s are Wide AM, that's normal.

Not sure what you mean by transitional error, all Wide AMs are the near FG.

There's a transitional error with the initial. This is where I got the info.

Thanks for the schooling John. That's why it's good to get others POV. I appreciate the help always. Once the acetone dip is done I'll post the pic if anyone wants to take a look and give me their take on it I appreciate that too. Thank you everyone for their input and I'm sure I'll be posting again. ABRNE

Looks like the 88 rev, and not the 89.

Clean first the coins. Do seem to be doubling on Reverse. After cleaning I will explain. I do not know what say BUTTER
