Some are worn some are darn near perfect. Anyone have any answers please let me know I'll gladly post a pic I got several wheat coins. A lot of the are in really good condition too. John1 Moderator United States 56855 Posts	Posted 01/30/2023 04:43 am There might be some goodies in the bunch, but it will take time and knowledge to weed out the good stuff. Look for errors and varieties as well as any high-grade ones which means you will need to learn grading. You could also weed out pre 1982 for the copper.Wheat backs are worth 2¢-5¢ at most coin shops. John1 Report this Post to the Staff

I myself keep them as they are PRETTY, I love the toning on old pennies (ya I'm a sucker) but they are such a pain to go through. Now I just buy rolls - cull the wheeties, bag the copper and search the zinc's before I throw back. Would like to hear from others what they do. Happy Hunting! Report this Post to the Staff
