Well I found a 1985D penny with a triple D ( these go to the right and down a hair) where the mint mark normally is with a mini D beside it. (it's just a blob of metal that looks exactly like a D in my opinion). Then below the triple D grouping is another grouping of 4 D's. You can see the curved side of the D and then the others (just the bottom curve of the other 3 D's) go up and to the left. I have studied this many times with my 40x loupe and am 99.9% positive this is what I have. Please let me know your thoughts.
At this point I can't figure out how to get my pictures down to 300mg..sigh.. I clicked on the Pxlir thing, but my brain overheated shortly after getting there. I can email pics to anyone at this point. Will try to figure out how to make my pics smaller asap. grrr

Sure doesn't look like a blister with my loupe or coin microscope. On the bottom 4 all of the layers coming up from the bottom D are the exact thickness of layering and exact shape with each layer. just don't see a blister. The top 3 are definitely there as you can see them on the outside as well as the inside of the D mint mark. The mini D could be a blister. I have looked at this coin repeatedly for the past month almost everyday.

They are plating blisters that have broken and now have
formed zinc rot. It will just get worse.
This is common zincoins.

to the CCF and xinc rot . We see these almost every day here. Take a tooth pick and pick at it, it will take the copper layer off and expose more rot.
