Looks like they are on the cheeks I'll have to look at the coin and holder better when I get home.

NGC Proof 64 (but I agree with Frog, we need more information on the marks on the cheek.)

Here is a photo with my iPhone. Maybe it was stored in an envelope for a long period of time before getting graded. It's a straight grade and you can't see it unless it's under the macro lense and lights.

I think the obverse hairlines will hold it to PR-64.

I'd say PR65 without the scratches, but think they'll hold it back to 64, maybe even PR63

Only 600 proofs where made for the 1868 3 cent nickel.
