There were two others listed that date back to Nov 2022. One was International FedX From Germany to Brooklyn, New York and one was USPS from Wisconsin to Shropshire UK. I can list those also if you would like.

INVESTIGATING AGENCY: USPS
TYPE OF INCIDENT: THEFT
INCIDENT LOCATION: TRANSIT TEXAS TO CALIFORNIA
DATE OCCURRED: 2/9/23

A package being shipped Priority Mail Small box - left from Coppell - TX to Sacramento - CA.

Upon arrival, recipient went to USPS to pick up box which required signature, but the box was empty.

The box contained the following coins:
1883-CC Morgan dollar ANACS MS63 CAMEO DMPL # 7433367

1883-CC Morgan dollar ANACS MS63 CAMEO DMPL VAM-4 # 7494165

1884-CC VAM-3 Morgan dollar ANACS MS62 CAMEO DMPL # 7494167

1884-CC Morgan dollar PCGS MS62 DMPL # 46232749

1884-CC Morgan dollar PCGS MS62 DMPL # 441654495

Hmmm. Was there evidence of tampering on the box? Could it have been shipped "empty"? Just wondering.

I had an experience, when shipping a roll of coins, where it arrived "empty" ... who knows what happened. Total loss for me and the guy I was sending the coins to.
