Hi, had this coin looked at and was told it is Celtic, Epatticus c. AD 25-35.

I have tried to search on internet but cannot find this information, does anyone know what it means and can you point me in the right direction to confirm what info I have.

Sorry this reply is so slow, but trawling through the list of still-unidentified coins, I looked at this one again and I think I've solved it.

First off, I'm certain it's not Celtic. I've never heard of Celtic copper coins. They probably do exist for some of the more Romanized Celtic states; I've just never seen or heard of one. Far more common are the silver and debased-gold coins. CoinArchives has a whole list of coins for Epaticcus, which shows you the style of coins this Celtic ruler were making in the first century.

So, what then of your coin? I believe it's from the opposite end of the ancient world to the Celts: the Kushan Empire, way over in what is now Afghanistan, India and Pakistan, issued during the reign of King Vima Takha, also known as Soter Megas. [url"http://www.zeno.ru/showphoto.php?photo=12202
