I bought this coin as a new error from the RCM. Is anyone have one like this? Thank you so much. *** Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. ***

The finish on the coin does not look Specimen. A possible typo by ICCS?

I would have to agree with loonielewy, I don't think that is a Specimen finish.

Yup, the other pics confirm it is specimen. Good score there.

Yes I new of this variety years ago, seems it hasn't really caught on like other no mag varieties. Maybe others didn't know about it.

I have bought two of this kind, one as SP66, and one SP64. Probably the last cents stroke in 2012, and no one can be find. If you have some, please, let me know.

Neat. https://www.mint.ca/en/shop/coins/2...-pack-116582If it is common enough, I'll have to look for one. I refuse to pay the outrageous prices that the other 2003 to 2006 off-metal cents are selling for. Frankly, I find there is more eye appeal with a 1c struck on a 10c, and those are a whole lot cheaper.

Yes your last couple pics do show a specimen finish, another cent for me to hunt down for my collection. Nice find!

cool! I haven't personally delved into collecting the specimen or proof variants - but it's nice to know that I am not the only one out there (who is still) interested in collecting the pos-99 penny variants.
I limit myself to what I can find locally - so I still have some holes to fill.
