I just bought the new book on decimal half pennies from 1971-present and I can tell you none of them are worth much more than a few £ and it's normally a circulation issue that has no sets that year.

I have lots of 1971 1 p, 2 p, and half p,s, unfortunately they are despite what there selling for on ebay they sadly are worth face value, I put all mine away many years ago hoping that one day they'd get me some cash but that day hasn't come yet, anyway best regards and enjoy collecting, respect, Alun
