G'day, it's worth about 10 cents (in any currency you like), but only as a curiosity.
It is a piece commonly called a "gaming token", not a coin.
It is meant to resemble a guinea-coin, which was made of gold. But yours is undoubtedly brass. Check the weight: gold is much denser than brass. A true guinea ought to weigh 8.4 grams, and a half-guinea 4.2g.

To avoid being convicted of "Coining" - another name for counterfeiting - the makers incorporated "deliberate mistakes", so they could argue that their pieces were innocent. Coining carried the death penalty upto 1832. For some reason, male coiners were hanged, but ladies convicted of coining were burned at the stake.

Check out the date: George III wasn't even born in 1701; he was born in 1738; his reign commenced in 1760; he died in 1820.

Also, the "legend" on the reverse is devoid of meaning.

These are available on E-bay quite often. Occasionally one is offered as if it is genuine. I saw one sell for 300 GBP a few years ago. Presumably, someone starting as a collector, who didn't see the advantage of "research before purchase".
