Anyone have any idea what happened here? Looks like partial missing clad on the left where the sharp line cutting off the left 1/5 of it is but I'm not even sure if that. . As for the rest, I'm not sure. The reverse just shows normal wear and tear.

The yellowish might be a coating of something like shellac.

Looks like some sort of coating on the right side.
Try soaking it in pure acetone for about 24 hrs to see if it comes off.

looks more like tape or tape residue. Notice how it does not meet up to the devices, but have an 'air gap' just as one would expect from somebody taping a coin into a coin folder.

Sorry for delayed response but weight was 5.56g. I believe that's normal. And thank you for all the help everyone. I will get some acetone and do a bit of experimenting tomorrow.
