I noticed that sovereigns may be graded with looser standards than I expected. Looking at photos from auctioned coins.

I find hard to evaluate the Edward VII and George V sovereigns. Traces of wear go in the hair of the image and it is not clear how they get graded. Looking at images in the PCGS site.

How would you grade this one by current standards?
Does the MS-63+ in the PCGS page show similar loss of brightess in the high places in the hair?

Looks like a break in the surface luster on the very high points. That indicates it circulated lightly. I see this one at AU-58.

Thank you. That matches my initial guess, before looking at pages and grades. It could be considered circulated due to that wear.
