Hi all, I have this "2016 P Tuvalu 1oz Star Trek USS Enterprise Silver And Gold Coin" and I can not find any info on it. There are the Silver ones from the P Mint /Tuvalu, but nothing on this 1oz Silver & Gold coin?

Anyone seen this coin before or know the mint qty? Contacting the P Mint is a waste of time, sorry to say.

Thanks
zman

Hi Keith12, that does make sense, but is that expensive to do as it like perfect, like it was an P Mint done? It so good I did not really think it was an after market process, any info by chance?

Thanks
zman

The actual coins are the product of the Perth Mint. Located in Perth, Western Australia with limited mintage of just 50,000. After, other mints sometimes will enhance the struck coins, such as gilded, colorized, black ruthenium gilded (for example the merrickmint was limited to 500) etc. Generally some collectors like these variations and will pay more than the value of the coin alone and can check some of those links on worthpoint below to see what they sold for or any further info as I linked to several of them but would hurt the ability to grade it as an original coin since its not a Perth Mint product and I see none with any certificate of authenticity in a quick look. Worthpoint has a free trial if thats all your looking for as well.

You dont have to be a trekkie to see that they did a nice job on that one with the adding of the gold to enhance it and so as mentioned those type of coins can sell for a premium over the base coin value to some collectors.

Not sure about DSKING, but I enjoyed star trek over the years, mostly the next generation, voyager, and original tv shows and a bit of enterprise, but a bit less with deep state 9 and I actually havent seen Picard, Strange New Worlds or Discovery due to time to have an opinion on those.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_...ision_series Star Trek 4,2,3 and then some of the reboots movie wise were worth watching https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_...r_Trek_films
