Just completed my first serious quarter hunt. Bought a $500 box last week and poured through it...... In addition to finding 5 doubled dies, I learned how the back of a quarter can show the diversity of the USA.

I thought I knew something about the USA having joined the armed forces in 1974 and serving for 8 years. I traveled to many posts around the country and overseas. I also traveled extensively to many burghs, boroughs and backwoods on business in the USA for over forty five years. However, the presentation on US quarters was enlightening. I visited 14 only of the 56 national parks and monuments highlighted on our quarter.

Yes, I am hooked on US quarters.

Wow that's cool Islander! Do you go to a bank to buy the Box of Quarters? I'd try that myself sometime.
I have an extensive quarter collection as well!

As far as National Parks go, I live 1 mile from the Western Entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park in Grand Lake, Colorado
If you haven't been it is truly amazing! I snowshoe there 5-6 times a week in winter.
The wildlife is amazing and abundant! You name it we got, they even re-introduced wolves here last year.

Hey Tacc.....
Yes, I've been to RMNP a couple times. My son lives in Denver and we get there as often as possible..... He is an insane bicyclist that did the Mt Evans climb. Love CO. Healthiest State in the Union.

Oh Man I am familiar with Mt. Evans! 14,000+ feet. I drove my car up it once. Never a bicycle! I can't imagine...and I'm a cyclist.

Fun finds.

Did you come across any W mint examples? I'm still looking for my first one.
