tropicalbats Pillar of the Community United States 6108 Posts	Posted 03/18/2023 12:13 am One thing I have learned with buying Buffalo nickels online is that a huge number of higher grade coins have been cleaned or dipped in some manner. Don't know who was out there doing all this or why, but just very common. This one has been dipped. Also a seemingly common thing is for Buffalo nickels to have exactly one long, distracting scratch on the obverse. I just seem to see this a lot, and this one also has that.
