Does anyone collect tokens from World's Fairs?
I have a large brass token from the 1933 Chicago Century of Progress A couple from the 1939-1940 New York World's Fair; 1 copper and the other brass (I think).
I've seen several from 1962 Seattle World's Fair, Montreal's Expo '67, 1904 St. Louis Fair at a local antique shop, and am thinking of picking them up.
I liked picking up affordable things from the World's Fairs, and not just tokens. 1939 New York, 1933 Chicago and Expo '67 are my favorites.

Some of those might fall under the category of So-Called Dollars, you might want to check out this site http://www.so-calleddollars.com/SC$s are quite collectible and many of them are quite rare when compared to the mintage of circulating coins but many of them are also quite affordable considering the rarity. I would certainly be interested in seeing the one from the 1904 St Louis Worlds Fair

biokemist6, thanks for the website info. That will come in handy.
manilagalleontrade, when I eventually get the hang of this forum and how to work my new scanner I'll post some pics. I'm a little technology-impaired.

I am practicing scanning and uploading photos in the forum. Please bear with me. Ken Here's a scan of a 1933 Chicago Century of Progress I have. I hope it works.

Here's another practice scan and post. This is a New York City Subway Token I picked up while in NYC back in the 1970's. Hey, this is easy! Now I can scan my coins and show them. All I have to do it to figure out how to get the coins positioned correctly so they're viewable without standing on your head. ken

Great set of tokens! Your Union Pacific reminds me that I have an Aluminum token celebrating the first Pullman Coach car made from Aluminum, think it was supposed to be from the same batch or something like that, will try to find it a post a pic.
Also have an enlongated penny from the 1933 Chicago Worlds Fair and a copper token about he size of a half dollar with the "Ford" script logo and "1936" on one side and the grill of a 36 Ford on the other, gave it to my son who is a Ford mechanic, will try to get a pic of it too to post.
