I picked this one up a while back. I think that it is about F15. What do you guys think?

Thanks!

Thanks, Zohar444! It is my only pillar 8, so it definitely has a special place in my collection.

Fine, it's been dipped though which is a shame.

markn- You think it has been dipped? What makes you think that? I realize that it is a bit darker on the right side of the obverse. Honestly, all-in-all this coin doesn't look as though it has been cleaned.

1. It appears too white for a 200 odd year old coin
2. There are elements of the original pre dip patina clinging to low protected areas of the coin which is a sign of a dip. Look around the S and P of HISPAN and the top right of the shield on the shield side. The darker spot on the right of the pillar side in an indicator also.

I wouldn't worry too much, most coins that are 200 years old have been cleaned at some stage. That's a nice pillar dollar you have there and you should be happy with it.
