livingdinasaur Pillar of the Community United States 1571 Posts	Posted 03/14/2009 11:31 pm ]I realize this is not a photography question, but it is part of the problem! How can I adjust my primter, so it doesn't cut off 2" of the right side of the text? I tried to make a print-out of SuperDave's posts, (actually, all of them), and 2" is missing on the text. I can make a test page, and it prints correctly. Help! Dick Report this Post to the Staff

SsuperDdave Moderator United States 23522 Posts	Posted 03/14/2009 11:46 pm Chances are there's a setting for your printing process somewhere that says "scale to fit." I don't know which particular printer you're using, so I don't know where that setting is. For my HP Laserjet, it's under "Properties", then "Effects." Report this Post to the Staff

xshift Pillar of the Community United States 2669 Posts	Posted 05/16/2009 02:56 am Also, if you click the "Printer Friendly" link right above the quick reply box in the topic, that will at least eliminate the extra stuff on the left so it doesn't push what you really want off to the side. Then when you click the Print link on that page that came up, click the "Properties" button next to where it lists your printer. In Properties, mine is under the "Advanced" tab, then a "Page Setting" button, then it has an option to choose "scale to fit". Mine's an HP, too, so hopefully between SD and I we can get you to the right spot Report this Post to the Staff
