Hello.
I was looking through about 4 single row boxes full of CN Indians yesterday and started noticing some appeared to have a pointed bust.
So I started pulling the ones out I thought were... Once I was done, I handed that stack to the guy I was dealing with (who is a very fair guy) and I had him check them over and he said they are all pointed bust. He priced them to me as if they were not pointed.
Checking Breen's later, it states:
1859 Prototype, Very Scarce... Pointed Tip To Bust (#1946)
1860 Pointed Bust, Very Rare (#1947)

They are all pretty low grade and the pictures are turning out worth a dang, so I am going to show to some others locally and get their say on these.

Coins minted from 1859-early 1860 have a pointed bust. The later issues in 1860 and all of 1861 should be rounded bust. I don't see any reference to an 1861 pointed bust.
