Hello again.
This time I found a 1916 D/D Quarter. I am trying hard to get a good picture but I can't do it.

Breen's says Ex. Rare.
How does their rarity scale work?
Theres Ex Rare, Very Rare, Rare, Scarce, and probably some others.
Is it like critical, serious, fair, good in the medical field? Even with those I don't remember which is which.

But is the order I have there correct?
Thanks!
Jordan

Canon Digital Rebel (SLR)
It's not a bad little (ha) Camera, but I cannot for the life of me get a good coin pic. The photography that I do is normally more distant. I nearly bought a macro lense but not not think I would get the use out of it...

dern I use a camera I got off ebay for 35 bucks and it takes pretty good pictures in macro setting, does it have a macro setting on the camera at all? Oh I wanted to let you know I know nothing about breens rating I was just trying to help with the pictures you have been posting and see if we could get some better pictures with your camera so we can enjoy all the coins you have been sharing

Hi Jordan

In the back of the Breens catalog, there is a breakdown of the rarity scale that maybe useful to you in understanding how to use it and determine where on the scale your coins may fall.

page 707 under R for Rarity
