2010 Canadian Penny Damage Or What ? Missing Face

NewCollector11 New Member Canada 29 Posts	Posted 05/04/2023 6:12 pm Not sure what this is , found this also looking through a bag of old pennies, probably just damage just wondering what would cause the face to be missing acid ? just a bunch of weird stuff going on through out the whole coin, sorry if its just junk ahahha thanks! okiecoiner Pillar of the Community Canada 5585 Posts	Posted 05/04/2023 6:41 pm It's made of copper plated steel and the plating is very thin. You have a penny that's rusting from the inside out because the Obv copper plating wore or was scraped off. Report this Post to the Staff
