If they come out with a version with Charles III on the obverse later, then I'll be interested in this.

The design is somewhat bland.

I agree as well, however I did order the Silver Dollar. In fact, I've already received notice that it has been shipped, and is on it's way - I might get it Monday or Tuesday/

For me the design one of the best that I could think of the event.

Clear and simple. It could be little bit more "loaded" with something Canadian, but good as it is.

I ordered SD immediately when I saw it without thinking twice.

An ironic comment considering it was posted on a technology-based forum!

King Charles III Coronation Bronze Medallion (Canada)

Relatively inexpensive, decided to order.

@Silveroid: Congrats! It looks like a nicely-executed medal.

If you scroll down and read the third or fourth article in the original poster's link it looks like like Canada has approved a new Canadian crown which will replace the existing crown on the Canadian coat of arms. I wonder if this means it will show up on the reverse of the Canadian 50 cent coin at some point in the future.

Seems like a reasonable bet.

New information on the RCM website titled "A New Royal Era" reads that it will be at least fall before an effigy of King Charles III goes into production for circulating coins.
