Before I go any further, can I post a link to an ebay auction before it ends?

I know some other sites frown on that. But its a 1799 dollar that looks to be in excellent condition, and seems to be offered as authentic. I didn't notice anything off about the coin, other than a current bid of $11 and its quality being high.

I see a few groups of 1799 dollars on ebay:
Those slabbed by respected TPGs, selling for $$$$, vs those clearly marked as "copies" for cheap
Then a few raw coins with pretty high starting bids, and those couple that are called "genuine", but are bidding quite low.
Given the potential high value, I seriously wonder why any Draped Bust dollar called "genuine" is not in a slab.
I would proceed with caution here--imo.

I'm going to pass on this one. Although this might be a bargain, I am suspect.

For future reference, you are more than welcome to post ebay links to coins you're considering bidding upon. The only problem is, knowing it's there, will we bid too?
