Hi All,

If at all possible would appreciate what possible grade this coin would obtain from either NGC or PCGS.

1936-South-Africa-2-Shilling---Grade-Please.

Coin is made from sterling silver.

All responses will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike.

Needs sharper definition to make a more definite grading, but from what I see in these pics:
obv,: Bands of orb above crown seem to be intact;
beard, mustache and eyebrow detail is almost fully intact; - sometimes detail in these areas can be less distinct due to very minor wear on the coin or the die;
reasonable luster remains.

Pics do not really reveal enough detail on luster disturbance in the fields.

Uncirculated, but not quite choice uncirculated (British grading)
(Sheldon grading best applied to US coins)

Agree, sharper (and hopefully larger) images needed.

With updated images, I can see lots of minor nicks and dings.
Nice luster, consistent with my original grading opinion, that has not changed.
