From what I can see, I think the leftmost coin is an antoninianus issued by Tetricus I, a usurper emperor of the Gallic Empire, in 271-274 AD. The rightmost coin gives the impression of a barbarous imitation of an antoninianus. Report this Post to the Staff

Sap Moderator Australia 16810 Posts	Posted 05/25/2023 10:57 pm They could also be "barbarous imitations" - contemporary replicas of ancient coins, made by people living on the fringe of Imperial territory, or in areas were regular coinage supply was hard to obtain. The extra-long neck on the coin on the right looks particularly barbaric to me.
