Hi. I am new to US Large Cent collecting. I have this 1830 coin that I have been unsuccessfully trying to identify its variety. I am hoping a member can help me. I am including pictures taken with my Samsung S21 5G phone.
There are many members here that are quite astute with identifying the Newsom number for large cents but you should post a picture of the reverse of this coin as well to help them ID the variety.
Since CarrsCoins hasn't been here for a while, I'll have to give this a try later when the reverse pic gets posted.

Whoopsie, my bad. I must have had a 63 year old brain lapse. I meant to say Newcomb numbers rather than Newsom. You may be able to do a google search for the Newcomb varieties associated with your large cent. Agreed that Carr's Coins is very well versed on this topic. Looking forward to the reverse pics.
