Interesting indeed! I don't think I've ever seen clips on the inner ring of a bimetallic coin before, but in principle I can't think of any reason why they couldn't occur. Gonna be hard to prove it's not PMD though.

it's certainly not PMD, pieces like this are very rare when it comes to bimatel coins. I could show some of the similar pieces that appeared on euro coins. I must also say that it is even impossible to make manipulation of this kind afterwards without it being more than obvious.
