I am just More a Raw or Original Package kind of Collector.


I have purchased Hundreds of Coins, ( buy the coin, Not the label ). They just happen to be Encased in a Clear Plastic Housing, .....

I have found,

Over the years of collecting the Term " Buy the coin, Not the slab " Use to be More True in days gone bye.

This theory has led to My Gathering Hundreds of Coins that were encased in a , Not always, Clear Plastic Housing. The coins I refer to were graded Very Early on, Years ago when the TPG's started around 1986.

A Cherry-Picker Could, With an Excellent eye See Variety's, Usually graded to low or Not Correctly.

These Older 1ST Generation slabs are the ones I am speaking about.

Lastly, Your statement about Being slabbed when the Time comes to pass along the Ward of Your collections, seen Here, Quote:

Your statement is 100% Correct, With an Addition to Add, When a Slabbed coin Comes to market, Versus a Raw coin coming to the Same market in 2025, IMO, I have found, The slabbed coins Recover Much More Premiums then Raw.

I Also have Most of My collections in Raw OGP's, And I know the days will come, That when auctioning off Raw coins through a Auction house, They Will almost Always have the coin in Question Graded.
