New to this. Is this a die crack causing this? The lines don't go over the lettering, so I'm not really sure what that's called.

Also, I apparently don't know how to reply and when I try to upload the full picture it tells me it's too big. There's something that's on Tony running over the letters but obviously a continuation.

No, not a die crack.

First off though, your image is a bit too close to get "the full picture" here, but the letters are incuse, which males the marks on the field damage.
Can you post up a full coin image or a bit more of this?
