Stumbled on this today INM8520258 , wondering what type of premium do radars have ? And is this considered a 4 digit radar ? Also are the signatures anything special ..thank you!

On coins Canada I can't get an estimate of what this should be valued at since they don't have the Lane/macklem signature pair listed

Nice find. Looks to be in crisp condition, is it? Make sure to put it in a sleeve being careful not to damage the corners.

Nice 4 digit radar find but it is AU (Almost Uncirculated) with that centre vertical fold. Only a small premium can be expected since this is the new prefixes being released at this moment.

The question regarding the signature should be about the prefix(& whether the signature changed for the INM prefix: it did not). The Lane-Macklem signature is kind of cool b/c its the first time a Deputy Governor (Lane) rather than a Sr. Deputy Governor has had his/her signature on our notes. But that doesn't really make the signature more collectible as there will be around 60,000,000 notes issued with that combo (& that's a lot).

Each prefix has a typical run of 10,000,000 (or 10M).

From the list of prefixes with signature change-overs I posted on this thread:
http://goccf.com/t/387364#3853176 br /

Quote:
Lane-Macklem INK (above 6.28M)
so If found a radar with an INK prefix (ie: INK8250528) that would be considered somewhat "tougher" & more collectible with an added premium (it would be a change-over radar). That's b/c the Lane Macklem INK has a much smaller run than 10M (or 10M - 6.28M = 3.72M for INK).

The next obvious question is which prefix will be the last for Lane Macklem signature combo? Some collectors think that INS will be the change-over prefix (end of Lane-Macklem) & we will see the new Rogers-Macklem signature combo.

Awesome write up buddy #128079; ! Thank you, yea not worth selling ..keeping it as its the first radar I've stumbled on personally so far ,, that I know of ..just started paying attention to bank note serial numbers the last 2 months so far my best catch .. also found a $20 bill with all 2s and a 6 on the end of 1 off a solid string of 2s ..just a cool find and keep for me. Hoping to find an INK prefix with a fancy serial number

Awesome write up buddy ... ! Thank you,

-No problemo Glad my post could be helpful.

You might also look out for AU to UNC IND change-over notes for the $5.00

Quote:
Wilkins-Macklem IND (above 8.98M)
as they've been tough. The INS prefix has been mostly discovered in Quebec & I have never seen it (only 1 INR). I would like to get some UNC of those notes too (just in case they are the change-over).

The $10 in UNC:

Quote:
Wilkins-Poloz FFE (below 0.85M)*

Quote:
Rogers-Maclkem FFK(above 8.19M)

-The Roger-Macklem FFK was easy to find just a few months ago (not sure about now).
BTW: a Quebec collector discovered 1 FFG prefix & I know he found other (later prefixes) but if it were me, I'd be holding onto it just in case the FFG is a short prefix. Every once in a blue moon the printers will shortchange a prefix (like they did with the Journey FDY prefix) See this link:
http://goccf.com/t/417980 br /

and everyone is on the look out for this $20:

Quote:
Lane-Macklem FZT (above 8.01M)+
as only FZZ prefix has been spotted in any #
