My grandfather is definitely to be blamed for my interest in coins. In the mid to late 80s he started giving his grandchildren a silver eagle every Christmas. Since then I've added other areas of collection including rock hounding and fossils.

I love all things coins, however, my greatest activity currently is coin roll hunting due only to finances. My collection is predominantly coins 1900-current and have been lucky enough to find more than my fair share of errors and varieties.

My favorite coin by far is my 1810 Half Cent that my grandfather gave me. Its a great example of how much changes in life.

I am currently working out the kinks with coin photography. I look forward to the experiences/knowledge I gain from this group and hope I will be able to give as much as I get.
