Hi Guys ,
I just came into possession of a nice IKE However the lamination? is starting to flake away on the obverse and reverse. Is this significant?

Never seen a lamination on an Ike so

Hi Guys,
right now my camera fu is weak..
Maybe I'm confusing the word lamination? (I'm a noob at this.) But the nickle /silver material around the neck and around parts of the eagle are flaking away.
