Great coin - Hall mint if I am not mistaken! I can't say exactly why, but I think that is one of the better designs from the early Austrian years. I only wish I had seen that one before you.....ha ha.

Hall it is. This ruler competes with Leopold the Hogmouth as one of the least attractive Habsburgs.

I imagine the Hall mint was once of, if not the most, productive mints in the Austrian 17th and 18th century. A complete series of Hall mint talers would be quite an achievement.

That would neccesitate hitting the jackpot :)
The ones I find harder to find in decent quality are the Kremnitz (Hungary) mint coinage which seemed to have been much more circulated.
