The designs surely will not win any beauty contests, but I find the Spanish province coinage to be quite intriguing. The Majorca piece is waiting for me at the post office in the morning.

1821 - 30 Sous/Sueldos - (often attributed to Majorca, which is a island in the Balearic Island archipelago)

The new piece joins the two other spanish provencial pieces that I picked up this year:

1809 - Tarragona - 5 Pesetas
