I have 3 questions about this quarter. 1)What kind of mark does this 2023 Bessie Coleman quarter have on the reverse in the name 'Bessie'? The mark looks like it goes behind the second 'S'. 2) there are marks between the 'E' and 'S' in Bessie ; 'L' and the 'E' and the 'E' and the 'M' in Coleman. Can you identify what these marks are? 3) is the date doubled? Thank you, Jennifer

The marks on the reverse on "BESSIE COLEMAN" are just scratches. They do not affect the letters because the letters are incuse on the coin.

Date looks like glare doubling or MD to me.

agreed - incuse letters will not get affected by surface hits, dings, and scratches.
and the date looks like either MD or a reflection from glare.

Also this did not need to be an 'event'. next time just start a new 'Topic' - maybe the mods can fix this one.

Thank you for your input. I had no idea I had made this an 'event'. Sorry.
