Yeah, no numerical grades for raw coins.

This coin is a raw coin, and the seller mentioned a numeric grade.
Raw coin listings...
"Must not include a non-approved grading company, numeric grade or estimated value anywhere in the listing and can't show an image of the item in a graded holder if the image shows a grade"

One's personal opinion is even less reliable (in general) than a grade given by a non-approved third party grading company.

That pretty much explains it then; my narrative in the description giving my grade opinion. What threw a monkey wrench in to it for me was their statement referring to "didn't follow our Replica coins and currency policy" intimating it was the coin causing the problem. Thanks for your feedback and info.

ebay removes listings using trivial unreliable searches for strings containing text they arbitrarily consider potentially violating a policy.
Can provide a couple of examples:
COULD NOT list a coin from Liberia commemorating Cuban missile crisis(using word Cuban in the title)
Got a coin from Somalia removed because it had Elephant in the title( that's what was on the coin). When I called ebay, I was told it was because it is illegal to sell IVORY.
Could not list ancient Persia coins (they said can't sell coins from Iran)
