JJonsson, your coin is a great example of what people call a circulation cameo. Various types of patina, staining, dirt, or whatever will cause the fields (background) of a coin to darken. But because fingers and pockets always touch the high points (devices) and rims, those can be really shiny and bold. Many people enjoy how that contrast looks on a coin. Yours is really nice!
