I got this coin...I believe its a KM#888a 1947 5 Francs. I think its in pretty good shape too, and a key.

I just want to confirm with you guys and maybe find a mintage number?.

I forgot to mention that its got a rim hit at 1 o'clock and it is definitely aluminum and bronze.

Wait...not bronze...

KM#888b maybe?.

I think all 5Fr after the war was made out of CuproNickle... I don't have a book handy thought...

Sorry, but this coin is KM# 888b.1 (no mintmark = Paris mint) and made of aluminium. KM 888a is made of aluminium-bronze, which is an alloy with a brassy, golden-yellow colour.

Yep, I found the A-B was more gold colored...I found a color picture of one.
