I found this 1984-D quarter and looking closer, to me it looks like a D over P mint mark but I'm just guessing. If any coin error experts could help me out I'd really appreciate it!

To CCF! Just a normal coin with a flattened mint mark, from circulation wear. OMM's stopped a long time ago, so it's no longer possible.
