I set this penny to the side while looking through rolls and just found it again after roughly 5 years. At first I thought it was beat up pretty bad but upon looking at it today, noticed some details that made me unsure of my initial evaluation. It is just slightly wider than a normal penny, and by slightly I mean very slightly. The portrait of Lincoln seems to be pushed in further and the reverse shows detail that shouldn't be there. Some are impressions and some are opposite that, almost as if there is metal that shouldn't be there. It very hard to describe and I feel as if I can almost make out letters, but the reverse is extremely busy. I stared at it for 2 hours, even using a microscope until my eyes started hurting and couldn't make sense of it still. Please help. Thanks in advance.
