Hi all,

I have a 1991 25c from an uncirculated set (the ones on cellophane). Numista mentions narrow and wide denticles on the reverse but without any comparison pics I have no idea what to look for.
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces351.html
Would a fellow CC member have any pics to help?
I'm also a tad confused with the proof-like terminology. Is there frosting in the detail as one gets in proof or just high lustre all over? Are the RCM uncirculated sets from 1991 PL? What's the difference between PL and BU? If the RCM 1991 set is PL, can anyone let me know what the denticles are classified as?
Thanks

There are no wide and narrow denticle varieties for 1991.
Numista is fine for basics but unreliable for Canadian varieties , any member can post anything there without supporting evidence.
Though not perfect the best online reference for Canadian coins is https://www.coinsandcanada.com/coins-prices.php
As mentioned above your coin is from a PL set, and because 1991 was a very low mintage year circulation coins are relatively scarce while PL and SP coins are as common as other years.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...
